Meta introduced Reels on Instagram to provide users with an engaging platform for creating and sharing short-form video content. To ensure users could easily navigate Reels' features —such as creating, editing, and sharing videos—comprehensive and user-friendly help content was essential.
My Role

Authored detailed and engaging content that broke down complex processes about Reels' features, ensuring alignment with Meta’s user support standards.

Project Overview
The Instagram Help Center is a resource where users can learn how to use Instagram via self-service content. It offers info on everything from creating an account to sharing content, but finding content in the navigation wasn't always intuitive.
My Role

Led a team of content strategists to improve the website's information architecture for easier user navigation.

Project Overview
Meta’s help centers aim to create inclusive and user-friendly content. However, early assessments revealed inconsistencies in accessibility for users relying on assistive technology.
My Role

Formed and led a team of content strategists to audit all help centers using WCAG 2.0 standards.

Made improvements to color contrast, hyperlink quality, and screen reader accuracy, including adding alternative text to over 3,000 icons.
